Served with a twist

These playmats were a result of a sewing day at our quilt guild.  The kokopelli mats and napkins are at home in Cave Creek, AZ and the red ones are in the home of a lovely new bride, Amy and her husband, Kenny.

Suzee Suit

PictureI saw these at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.
The following gallery of photos show a sport coat that was embellished for Pat Gamet at the Five Trails Winery in Paxton, Nebraska.  He wanted it to be in the style of a Nudie Suit. It isn't what it sounds - Jim Nudie created the sparkling suits for Porter Wagner and others.

The coat was a fun and challenging project.  I just the winery was still in business.

This is not a quilt as you can clearly see, but it is a fabric project.  I created this design for a wedding runner.  It was fun to do for a beautiful bride and her wonderful husband.

One-liner projects.

Like my buffalo signature, I like to make one-liner quilts.  If you place your finger at one side of the quilt and run it along the design, you will find yourself at the other side without having to pick up your finger.

Blush

This quilt was made for Pat and Lori Gamet at the Five Trails Winery in Paxton, Nebraska.

Tea Time

Picture
This quilt was made from a kit pattern.  I selected batik fabrics to compete it.  There are three sets of one-liners.

NATA Quilt demonstration example.

This small wall hanging is one I used for my demonstration at the International Quilt Center in October 2009.  It is adapted from a technique developed by Ricky Timms, "Quilting Caveman Style".  I would highly recommend it as a change of pace.

No rulers - No pins!!

Spinner

This wall hanging was created without pins or rulers. It is an adaptation of the "Quilting Caveman Style".
