Almost ready for the uv clear coat

The mosaic process is done.  The heart is waiting at the local auto body shop for the UV clear coat.  It seems the Mod Podge is still a little tacky, maybe due to the drying conditions in our garage.  Steve K has taken his time in completion of the project, for which I am very grateful.  They will test the sample I have prepared, possibly today, to make sure his coating doesn't do "bad things" to my artwork.  All in due time.  Then the heart will go to Pinnacle Bank - Ogallala to showcase for about 3 weeks before heading to Lincoln for installation.

Some have asked how the lightweight (somewhat) sculpture will withstand Nebraska winds.  The sculpture maker has created a base that fits inside the Nebraska base.  It will be filled with sand bags and then screwed to the sculpture base.

As of yet, no decision has been made as to location.  When the heart is ready, the sponsor will pick the location.
